Glazing (mounting)

The CE regulations prohibit BBGR from glazing any new frames which are not marked with the CE mark, or are not accompanied by a tag or literature which has the CE mark. This does not refer to secondhand frames (so called re-glazing) where normal quality verification activity will be conducted.

Optical Tolerances

BBGR manufacture lenses to:

• BS EN ISO 8980: parts 1&2:2004 (part 1)/1997 ophthalmic optics - Uncut finished spectacle lenses.
• BS 2738: part 1:1998 Specification for tolerances on optical properties of mounted spectacle lenses.

Quality Assurance

BBGR operate a Quality Management System which complies with the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2000.

In accordance with CE regulations all returns must be accompanied with our original delivery note.
