EvolisŪ is customised according to the type of ametropia.
EvolisŪ takes into account the visual behaviour of the wearer.
Optimum comfort for each type of presbyope
Myopes, emmetropes and hyperopes do not use the same zones of the lens to see the same object.
Myopes need good distance vision and rapid access to the near vision zone, without any field restrictions. Low ametropes need to regain good near vision without optical disturbances.
Hyperopes need to see well instantaneously at any distance.
All presbyopes need soft management of power variation to ensure good dynamic vision.
To meet wearer's needs, BBGR developed three designs dedicated to each type of ametropia.
Each design is characterised by a specific meridian, so a specific power profile and progression length.
- Myope: progression length at 85% of the addition = 10.4mm
- Low ametrope: progression length at 85% of the addition = 11.5mm
- Hyperope: progression length at 85% of the addition = 12.2mm
