Anateo® is the first progressive lens which takes ocular anatomy – the eye’s size, position and shape – into account. Biometric technology now allows each wearer, whatever their correction, to discovea a newer, wider and more comfortable field of vision. |

Personalisation according to eye anatomy
Ocular length can vary from one wearer to another by as much as 20.5 mm to 28 mm, or a height of 30% in an emmetropic eye (without visual defect).
Breaking new ground in this field, BBGR has now developed a means of
modelling ocular anatomy based on each wearer’s prescription. This incorporates three elements:
eye lenght: long eye corresponds to a myopic prescription, while a short eye calls for a hypermetropic prescription.
the position of the center of rotation: the longer the eye, the further the centre of rotation will be from the lens.
the retinal curve: long eye has a larger retinal curve than a short eye

These three basic elements are taken into account in order to personalise the entire surface of the Anateo® progressive lens, enabling everyone to benefit from unequalled visual comfort.
Biometric technology, an outstanding and patented innovation
Vision results from the projection of an image onto the retina. Using an exclusive BBGR process, Anateo® applies biometric technology to adapt to ocular anatomy. This consists of designing the progressive lens which will produce an optimised image for each eye shape based on the image as it is perceived by the entire retina. This biometric technology is founded on exclusive double-sided calculations linked to the use of Digital Surfacing, placing Anateo® at the peak of a whole new generation of lenses.
