NEW "Max" composite layer
The Neva Max innovation consists of a process for depositing a micro-aerated mineral composite layer between the varnish and the multi-layered antireflective stack. This nano-layer further reinforces the hardness of the lens, protecting it against scratching while at the same time adapting to organic lenses. It thus combines the advantages of mineral and plastic lenses with the added benefit of optimised resistance to shocks and scratches.

To demonstrate its extraordinary scratch resistant qualities, Neva Max AR lenses were subjected to real-life simulation tests, reproducing in the laboratory a lifetime of daily wear and tear.
After tests in an abrasive environment, Neva Max obtained the best overall performance rating in terms of robustness and kept a transmission rate that outperforms all standard anti-reflective treatments.
